ABVI (P) Ltd has been in business since 1945 first as a pioneer in the plywood industry and now as a leading manufacturer of composite bamboo and accessories.
Assam Bengal Veneer Industries (P) Ltd (referred to as ABVI) is a Heritage Company established in the 1940s. Until the 1990s, ABVI was one of the largest manufacturers of plywood in North Bengal. With changes in the forestry regulations, ABVI changed moved to a more environmentally sustainable product base.
We, at ABVI have developed a technology to manufacture a non-timber engineered composite using bamboo. We use locally grown homestead bamboo and non toxic resin in our processing.
Apart from the Bamboo factory we also operate a Eco-friendly Guest House in our factory complex
Our skilled workforce, guided by a team of experienced supervisors and manager run the operation.
Our aim is to produce the best quality composite bamboo, promote uses of the Green Product in all possible applications and to emerge as a model for establishing Green Sustainable Economy for our country.
